Christian R. Bonawandt is a new sci-fi & fantasy author. In the last three years, his name has appeared on web magazines and e-zines all over the Internet. With a background in martial arts, a taste for pro-wrestling-style action, and a well-researched knowledge of artililary, weapony and firepower, Bonawandt unleashes the more ferocious potential of the fantasy and sci-fi genre.
His work is available only on the World Wide Web, including his first full-length novel, "Dreamers" (available as an e-book from StoneGarden.net). His goal is to make his name world-renown before ever seeing a single work on paper.
Although fully accessible by all genderes, the writing of Christian R. Bonawandt are unashemedly masculine. His Stendhal series has been compared to Philip K. Dick's Blade Runner. There is a gritty, powerful edge to his writing, with a style the jumps out and grabs the readers. Not everything is an all-out, gun-em-down, slash-em-up slugfest. There is a sense of purpose and meaning to each and every story. Great examples of this are "Mind over Machine," "Fire God," Requiem for a Cyborg" and, most recently, "Maid on the Shore."
