Please read the rules carefully! Here you will also learn how your site will be judged and graded.
- You do not need to be a member to apply. However FE's rules will still apply to your website, such as no pornography, extreme hate or racism, or intolerance.
- As stated before your website must be fantasy based. FE is not giving out any other awards at this time.
- You will be contacted weather or not you win one of our awards unless your website is serious violation to our rules or not fantasy related.
- Your website must have a sufficient quantity of content to be judged, if your only content is links or still under construction there may not be enough content to base a score on.
- If your receive a silver or bronze award you may come back and try again for a higher award. However you must wait 3 months and you may only re-apply once. If you receive a score of 39 points or lower you will not be awarded but you may keep trying every 3 months.
- Things that will hurt your score are broken links, dead images, excessive spelling errors that make a website un-readable, and an unbalanced color scheme.
How your website will be scored
Content: 25 pts. - Your site will be judged first on it's content. This includes the quality of content, quantity, and originality. Quantity goes a long way but quality is just as important. The quality is based on how in-depth you go on the particular subject. A website can only be 4 pages big but if your content keeps visitors around and coming back then you'll do good here. Originality will get you some extra points if your website has a little something extra.
Graphics: 25 pts. - Your site will also be judged on graphics. You do not need to be a graphic designer to do good here. The graphics must be well balanced and fit in with the content. If your website is a graphics website then the graphics will be judged.
Design / Layout: 25 pts. - Your website's design and layout is also important. The layout should be well balanced, organized, and easy to navigate. A creative design will also help your score.
Over-All Impression: 25 pts. - This area is based on the over-all feel of your website. If your website shows a lot of effort you'll do well here.
Gold = 91 - 100 pts.
Silver = 61 - 90 pts.
Bronze = 40 - 60 pts.
